This project represents a significant transformation of an existing family home, combining architectural ambition with thoughtful, practical design. Delivered in just under 12 months, the scope included a major ground floor extension, full internal reconfiguration, and extensive first floor renovations.
Prior to the works, the home was limited by a dated internal layout and a poor connection to the garden. Segmented ground floor spaces restricted natural light and made the property less suited to modern family living, while upstairs the first floor no longer reflected the homeowners’ needs, with tired bathrooms and under-utilised space.
While the property had clear potential, unlocking it required a carefully considered redesign and a significant extension. With a project value of £250,000–£300,000, the brief was to dramatically improve flow, increase usable living space, and create a brighter, more connected home—delivered to a premium standard throughout.
Bespoke Ground Floor Extension with Aluminium Sliding Doors
The ground floor was completely reimagined, centred around a large rear extension that significantly increased the footprint of the property and transformed how the home functions day to day.

As with many projects of this size and complexity, technical challenges arose during the build. An issue relating to the cold roof installation required remedial works and approved amendments to the original design.
This was addressed proactively and professionally, with solutions carefully implemented to minimise impact and ensure the longterm performance of the property. While no largescale renovation is entirely without challenges, this was a single, isolated issue on a 12 month project—and one that was resolved fully and transparently.
